Welcome to Livingston Chinese School
| | Livingston Huaxia Chinese School is a non-profit corporation incorporated in the State of New Jersey, U.S.A. The objectives of the school are to teach Chinese language and promote Chinese culture to the public, to foster multi-culture exchange, and to promote the understandings and communications among different ethnic groups, through the activities including: teaching Chinese language, arts, music, dance, and other forms of liberal arts and science; organizing community events to disseminate Chinese culture; engaging in any other educational activities compatible with the purposes of the School.
Livingston Huaxia Chinese School was established in 2002. All classes are held every Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:30 am except holidays. There are 16 sessions per semester.
The school admits students aged 4 and up of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.

| Donation For China Sichuan
Earthquake |
A second donation check of $3,701.33 from Livingston
Huaxia Chinese School to Chinese Red Cross Foundation for Sichuan
Earthquake has been sent to Chinese Consulate General in New York on 6/16.
In this fundraising event, we totally collected $45,764.93. The first check
of $42,063.60 was sent to Chinese Consulate General on 5/19.

sincerely thank all the donors for your caring and support. Please click on

Summer Soccer CampThe
Huaxia Chinese School and the Huaxia Soccer Club will again
co-sponsor the 2008 Summer Soccer Camp. The fee is $30, and it is mainly to
pay for the insurance and the ice pops for kids. The Summer Soccer Camp will
run between
July 12th and
August 23rd for 6 sessions. This schedule might not be final. The
camp will start at
8:30 on every Saturday morning at the Heritage Middle School and last
for approximately 2 hours.
Registration for Next School Year
If you have not yet completed the
registration (Chinese course or culture course) for the school year
2008-2009, please do so. You can submit the registration form and payment to
the registration desk this
Saturday or mail to: LHXCS, PO Box 2097, Livingston, NJ 07039 . If
you have question, please send email to:

"Go"
Class
Next year, we will offer two Weiqi (Go) classes, two sessions for each
class. Tuition is $580. The instructor is the well known world champion Feng
Yun 9p.
Recruiting Teacher
We are recruiting
teachers due to the growing of our school. If you are interested in
teaching Chinese or CSL, please contact our school dean, Mrs. Kongli He,

Donation For Schichuan Earthquake
Last week we totally collected $3,454 donations for the Sichuan
earthquake. We continue accepting donations this week. After we receive
all company matches of our donors, we will send a check to China Red
Cross.
